If it's a front tooth being treated, then you may want to opt for the porcelain since it is white and looks a lot more natural. How Long Will the Crown Last?
Many people keep their crowns for life, but they do sometimes need to be replaced after 10 or 15 years. This is not something to worry about. Will the Crown Feel Strange?
You may find that your tongue darts towards the crown quite often during the first few days that you have it. Soon, however, you will be totally used to the crown, and you won't notice a thing. Eating and brushing your teeth should feel the same as it did before you got the crown and maybe even less painful if you're currently having some sensitivity in that tooth.
